     Betsy Jacobson founded Fibromyalgia Resources in 1991 which exists SOLELY for the referral of  PATIENT RECOMMENDED, FIBRO-FRIENDLY doctors to fibromyalgics around the world.  Betsy's data base is programmed to have a file per doctor, and each file contains the following information:
1  Full name of each professional (PT's are sometimes included)
2  The pro's degree, e.g., MD, DO, PT, etc.
3  Phone number(s)
4  Address or simply the city or town
5  Specialty, e.g., rheumatology, physiatry, psychiatry rarely, chiropractic rarely, neurology & endocrinology occasionally, general medicine, etc.
6  Email address (and usually the full name) of the patient who referred the pro.
7  Date of referral
8  Misc. comments of referrers which may include info on how available the pro is, interest (or not) on meds, if there's a clinic on site, behavior of staff & much more.  
   
Fibrobetsy has 1,000 plus names of patient recommended doctors in her data base.  This can only continue to grow IF YOU SHARE YOUR FAVORITE DOCTORS with her.  Please send the following info to kindness@fibrobetsy.com:

1.  Full name of doctor or other professional (w/degree) who has
         served you well as a fibromyalgic.
2.  Name of pro's city/town and state
3.  Phone #
4.  Optional: comments about pro, see # 8 above - if you have time.

Fibrobetsy also requests that if a patient is list hopping, s/he postpone contacting her until s/he has exhausted all other possibilities, so that Betsy doesn't duplicate other people's efforts.  She, too, has FM, is 65 y/o & would like to practice what she preaches, which is to take advantage of any free time available, although she helps fibromyalgics 6 days a week.
