APL -Assistant Patrol Leader
ARB - Adult Review Board - reviews and approves advancements for
Star, Life and Eagle
JASM - Junior Assistant Scoutmaster
OA - Order of the Arrow honor society - scouts selected by peers if
qualifications are met
PL - Patrol Leader
PLD - Patrol Leader Development - Patrol Leaders participate in a special
training program designed to help them lead a patrol
QM - Quartermaster
Silver Stag - Junior Leader Training Course run
by the Cradle of Liberty Counsel.
SPL - Senior Patrol Leader
TLC - Troop Leader Council - youth leaders meet after each trip to discuss
the trip and plan for future events (with Scoutmaster)
TLCRB - Troop Leader Council Review Board - youth leaders and advisor
(adult) meet to review advancement of Scouts
TLT - Troop Leader Training - SPL and staff apply for the chance to attend
this special, one-week training, to prepare them to assume important Troop
leadership positions.
