It's a long road to the top, but Ryan Bloome is there! The Eagle rank he earned was awarded in a ceremony on November 30, 2002 at St Catherine of Sienna Church in Hatboro Pa. in a ceremony with family, friends and fellow Scouters. Included were messages of congratulations from many local & national dignitaries and a special award and presentation from the Montgomery County Detachment of the Marine Corps League , who also donated a check to the Cradle of Liberty Council in the name of the Ryan and Matt Wisniewski who also earned his Eagle rank.
Ryan's final step in the process involved completion of His Eagle Project where he organized and hosted an "Old Fashioned" Sing-a-Long and Social for the residents of Luther Park Assisted Living Facility and Gloria Dei Farms.
Ryan has been involved in Scouting since becoming a Tiger Cub in first grade. He achieved his Arrow of Light with Pack 438 in Roslyn & then became a member of Troop 72 where he held positions of Assistant Patrol Leader, Patrol Leader, Troop Quartermaster, Assistant Senior Patrol Leader and Junior Assistant Scoutmaster. At St. Catherine of Siena Ryan is a member of the Catholic Youth Group LifeTeen and was a Lector at the LifeTeen Masses . He attended the 2001 Notre Dame Youth Leadership Conference and the 2000 Stubbenville University Weekend Retreat.
